     The Rev. John M. Coffin, retired director of the former Stewardship 
and Communication Development Ministry Unit, has agreed to serve as interim 
president and chief executive officer of the Presbyterian  Investment and 
Loan Program (PILP).   
     Coffin will serve until the PILP board of directors finds a permanent 
replacement for the Rev.  Robert D. Curtis, who was terminated "without 
prejudice" on April 13 after six weeks as PILP president/CEO.  The board 
cited "differences in his and the board's vision for the direction of the 
program" as the reason for Curtis' dismissal.

     Susan Harmansky, the General Assembly Council's associate director for 
human resources management, has resigned in order to accept a position as a 
human resources officer with Providian, a financial services conglomerate 
based in Louisville.  Her last day of work at the Presbyterian Center was 
April 19.   
     Terri Parker, associate for benefits in the human resources management 
office, has been named acting associate director until Harmansky's 
replacement is found.

     The Rev. Catherine "Kitty" Borchert, coordinator for the Advisory 
Committee on Social Witness Policy, has announced her resignation.  She 
will return to her home in Cleveland, Ohio, where she will pursue a Ph.D. 
in social policy history, with an emphasis on church history, at Case 
Western Reserve University.  Her last day of work will be Aug. 2.

     The Rev. James Clinefelter, associate for curriculum development for 
youth and young adults in the Congregational Ministries Division, and 
Verlee Clinefelter, administrative assistant in the international 
volunteers office of the Worldwide Ministries Division, have announced 
their retirements, effective June 14.  The happy couple will spend their 
summers in Iowa and their winters in Florida.

     Dan DeWilde, payroll manager at the Presbyterian Center in Louisville, 
has resigned to accept a position with Vencor, a Louisville financial 
services company.  His last day of work for the Presbyterian Church 
(U.S.A.) is April 26.
