     A story in the Oct. 27 edition of "NEWS BRIEFS" (#95386) about the 
property decisions at the Presbyterian School of Christian Education should 
have identified Isabel W. Rogers as a PSCE faculty member.  
      PSCE's 1994-95 operating and maintenance costs are estimated at 
$419,942. The $4.1 million figure mentioned in the story is PSCE's deferred 
maintenance cost, or what the school  needs to spend to repair and upgrade 
its property but presently cannot due to its budget.  
     "The Presbyterian Outlook" ad placed by those who opppose the sale to 
Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond asked people  to "have faith that 
when Presbyterians know PSCE's need, they will respond with adequate 
support."

     Due to faulty information received from the Racial Ethnic Ministries 
office in Louisville, a story in the Oct. 27 "NEWS BRIEFS" (95374) 
incorrectly identified Bruce Reyes-Chow as the first Filipino man to be 
ordained in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).

     Due to an editing error, a story in Oct. 27 "NEWS BRIEFS" (#9537e) 
incorrectly reported a Committee on the Office of the General Assembly 
decision about "Speakout" times at the General Assembly.  Commissioners 
addressing the Assembly during the "Speakout" periods  may not comment on 
business before the Assembly -- a change in procedure instituted by COGA at 
its recent meeting.
