A story in the Oct. 27 edition of "NEWS BRIEFS" (#95386) about the
property decisions at the Presbyterian School of Christian Education should
have identified Isabel W. Rogers as a PSCE faculty member.
PSCE's 1994-95 operating and maintenance costs are estimated at
$419,942. The $4.1 million figure mentioned in the story is PSCE's deferred
maintenance cost, or what the school needs to spend to repair and upgrade
its property but presently cannot due to its budget.
"The Presbyterian Outlook" ad placed by those who opppose the sale to
Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond asked people to "have faith that
when Presbyterians know PSCE's need, they will respond with adequate
support."

Due to faulty information received from the Racial Ethnic Ministries
office in Louisville, a story in the Oct. 27 "NEWS BRIEFS" (95374)
incorrectly identified Bruce Reyes-Chow as the first Filipino man to be
ordained in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).

Due to an editing error, a story in Oct. 27 "NEWS BRIEFS" (#9537e)
incorrectly reported a Committee on the Office of the General Assembly
decision about "Speakout" times at the General Assembly. Commissioners
addressing the Assembly during the "Speakout" periods may not comment on
business before the Assembly -- a change in procedure instituted by COGA at
its recent meeting.
