LOUISVILLE, Ky.--Darrell Guder, the William A. Benfield Jr. professor of 
evangelism and global mission at Louisville Theological Seminary, will lead 
a biannual seminar in Geneva, Switzerland, from Jan. 9-26.  The program, 
"Ecumenical Perspectives on the Church's Mission," is cosponsored by Austin 
Theological Seminary and is open to pastors, laypeople and students. 
Participants will work with resource people from the World Council of 
Churches, the World Alliance of Reformed Churches, the Conference of 
European Churches and other agencies.  Costs range from $1,106 to $1,436, 
depending on accommodations. 
 
PITTSBURGH--"OctoberQuest," a daylong event designed to introduce 
interested persons to the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, took place 
Saturday, Oct. 21.  Faculty-led workshops included "Women and the Death of 
Mothers,"  "The Listener's Role in Preaching,"  "Modern Translations of the 
Bible" and "Archaeology and the Bible."
