95444         Child Abuse Ministry Resource Released

LOUISVILLE, Ky.--The Presbyterian Health, Education and Welfare Association 
(PHEWA) has released a new resource entitled "Child Abuse Ministry: A 
Bibliography of Resources for the Religious Community." 
 
     It includes materials for congregations and clergy, children and 
youth, parents and adult survivors of child abuse.  Resources include 
curriculum, videos, lists of organizations and denominational statements on 
child abuse. 
 
     "Child Abuse Ministry" was jointly produced by the Presbyterian Child 
Abuse Network, a constituent network of PHEWA, the Presbyterian Church 
(U.S.A.) and the Justice for Children and Their Families Committee of the 
National Council of Churches. 
 
     The resource is free and is available from the PC(USA) Child Advocacy 
Office in Louisville by calling (502) 569-5838.
