     A story in the Jan. 19 "NEWS BRIEFS" (#95457) about affirmative action 
warrants clarification.  The only Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) entity that 
produces or sells the curriculum materials "Bible Discovery" and 
"Celebrate" is the Presbyterian Publishing Corporation (PPC). The current 
role of the Congregational Ministries Division (CMD) as it pertains to 
curriculum is to develop these curricula and provide editorial oversight 
within the partnerships. The CMD does not produce or sell any portion of 
curriculum materials.
