96023        Tentmakers Elect New Steering Committee

LOUISVILLE, Ky.--At their recent meeting in Chicago, members of the 
Association of Presbyterian Tentmakers elected new officers. 
     The Rev. Linda Kuhn, a farmer and tentmaker interim pastor, was 
elected moderator.  The Rev.  Charles Ayers, a farmer and tentmaker in 
Kansas was elected moderator-elect.  The Rev. Robert Palisin, pastor of 
Sunset Hills Presbyterian Church in Mansfield, Ohio, and a financial 
consultant and travel agent, was reelected secretary/treasurer. 
     The other three members of the steering committee are David Vallenga, 
a micro-lithography engineer in Research Triangle Park, N.C., and lay 
pastor of Butner Presbyterian Church; the Rev. Ross Blount, a farmer and 
pastor in Allerton, Iowa; and the Rev. Bill Dodge, a systems analyst for 
the State Senate of New York. 
     The 1996 Association of Presbyterian Tentmakers conference is 
scheduled for Nov. 1-3, 1996, at Stony Point Conference Center in New York.
