     The Rev. David Doering, associate general presbyter for 
corporate social witness for New York City Presbytery, died Feb. 
1 of AIDS-related complications.  A graduate of Indiana University 
and McCormick Theological Seminary, Doering had been on the 
presbytery staff since 1989. 
     He is survived by a daughter, Rachel; a son, Adam; a brother, 
Bruce; seven nephews and one grandson.  A memorial service is 
scheduled for Feb. 19 at Cental Presbyterian Church in Manhattan.

     Prodeep Paul, husband of longtime Presbyterian Church national 
staff member Glendora Paul, died suddenly Feb. 7 at home in 
Pittsburgh.  A native of India, Paul was a university teacher.  
Glendora recently retired after many years in Presbyterian women's

     Glaucia Vasconcelos Wilkey has been named associate for 
worship programs in the Christian Faith and Life program area of 
the Congregational Ministries Division.  She begins Feb. 13.  Her 
primary responsibilities will be working with presbyteries, synods 
and groups to develop conferences, workshops and consultations to 
enhance worship in congregations.
