DUBUQUE, Iowa--Ronald E. Heath, formerly director of development for 
Central Michigan University, Mt. Pleasant, Mich., has been named vice 
president of advancement at the University of Dubuque, according to UD 
president John J. Agria. Heath's appointment became effective Aug. 1. "He 
has extensive experience in all aspects of advancement," said Agria. His 
demonstrated organizational skills, experience at both public and private 
schools, and outstanding record of success will bring considerable energy 
to our efforts to contact and involve our constituents." 
 
STORM LAKE, Iowa--Kermit and Lucille Buntrock of Storm Lake have pledged 
more than $160,000 to Buena Vista University. Their gift is in the form of 
stock in the Professional Photographers Color Corporation of Beloit, Kan. 
The Buntrock's contribution is valued at more than $168,000 and was given 
as a challenge grant, with the hope of encouraging others to invest in 
Buena Vista. Their gift establishes the Kermit and Lucille Buntrock Endowed 
Scholarship and supports the future expansion of BVU's Siebens Fieldhouse.
