     Margaret "Margy" Brown, coordinator for churchwide personnel services 
in the National Ministries Division in Louisville, has announced her 
retirement.  She will conclude her work July 31, when she will move to 
Perdido Beach, Fla., with her husband, the Rev. Donald Brown, who is 
completing an assignment as interim executive for the Presbytery of 
Southern Kansas. 
     Margy Brown will continue to work for the General Assembly on a 
part-time basis until next year's Assembly as associate for the call 
system.   
     In that position she will work closely with the Rev. Catherine "Kitty" 
Borchert, who is temporary half-time acting associate for resourcing 
Committees on Ministry in the Church Professional Development office of the 
National Ministries Division.  Borchert recently resigned as coordinator 
for the Advisory Committee on Social Witness Policy in order to attend 
graduate school in Cleveland.

     The Rev. E. Dixon Junkin, dean of the Institute for Christian 
Formation at Stony Point, N.Y., has announced his resignation, effective 
Dec. 31, 1996.  Junkin will move to Texas to pursue new professional 
challenges.

     Margaret "Marge" Anderson, associate for mission funding in the 
National Ministries Division, has announced her resignation.  She is moving 
to Denver.

     Gary E. Hill has been named president/CEO of the Faith & Values 
Channel.  He began work June 11. Hill comes to F&V from a career in the 
communications field, most recently as CEO of the Z-Music Cable Channel run 
by Gaylord Communications out of Nashville.

     The Rev. Bruno Caliandro, director of program development for the 
Faith & Values Channel, died in his sleep June 10.  Caliandro, a United 
Methodist minister, was an Air Force chaplain prior to embarking on his 
career as a television producer and director.
