     The story in the June 14, 1996, edition of  "NEWS BRIEFS" on the 
Societal Violence Initiative Team meeting (#96216), should have listed 
Loretta Bradley of Knoxville, Tenn., as the Presbyterian Women liaison. 
      
     The story in the June 21, 1996, edition of "NEWS BRIEFS" about the 
Presbytery of Santa Fe's Committee on Local Arrangements (COLA) (#96233) 
should have stated that while events such as the July 2 Golf Outing to 
benefit the Synod of the Southwest and the July 4 Board of Pensions 5K 
Run/Walk are still available at this year's General Assembly, some events, 
particularly the mission tours, are sold out. The Presbyterian News Service 
regrets the error.
