MONMOUTH, Ill.--The most ambitious capital campaign in the history of
Monmouth College is complete. "Forward to the 21st Century," a campaign to
raise funds for capital improvements, endowment, and current fund and
program support, exceeded its $25 million goal this spring. "We are both
delighted and grateful at the generosity of our many friends and alumni,"
said President Sue Huseman, who announced on May 16 the campaign's
conclusion. "They have demonstrated the depth of their committment to
Monmouth College through their many gifts, and they are having an enormous
positive impact on our campus. Our sincere thanks to all of them."
