Bishop Ndungane to succeed Bishop Desmond Tutu

NOTICE FROM THE CHURCH OF THE PROVINCE OF SOUTHERN AFRICA (ANGLICAN)
June 5, 1996

At the Elective Assembly held on June 4, 1996,
The Rt Revd Winston Njongonkulu Ndungane, Bishop of Kimberley and Kuruman,
was elected as Archbishop of Cape Town to succeed Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

He will be enthroned as Archbishop of Cape Town on September 15, 1996, in
St George's Cathedral, Cape Town.

Please pray for him as he prepares to assume duties in this very demanding
office.
