                           CORRECTION

     In UMNS story #366, dated July 24, about African-American
bishops in the United Methodist Church, there is an incorrect
geographic listing on page 3 for Bishop Felton E. May. At the
recent Northeastern Jurisdictional Conference in Amherst, Mass., he
was assigned to the Washington (D.C.) Area from his present
Harrisburg (Pa.) Area.  Please make that change.
