ALBUQUERQUE--The Ordination and Human Sexuality committee of the 208th 
General Assembly (1996) is scheduled to make an informational presentation 
on the floor of the Assembly at 11:45 a.m. Friday, July 5.  The committee 
is scheduled to present its report to the Assembly at 1:50 p.m. Friday, 
according to Bills and Overtures Report Six issued at 11:20 p.m. July 3. 
 
    The report contains a full preamble to convey the committee's thoughts 
on the overtures it is presenting to the Assembly.  At least one and 
perhaps two or more minority reports will be presented to the Assembly with 
the committee's report.  The committee approved its final report Thursday 
afternoon by a vote of 30 for, 18 against, 0 abstained.

July 3 issue of this paper for the text of the main Book of Order amendment 
the committee is proposing to the Assembly.
