96319    Church Administrators Schedule National Meeting

LOUISVILLE, Ky.--The national conference of the Adminstrative Personnel 
Association (APA) has been set for Oct. 11-13 in Philadelphia. 
 
     The APA comprises administrative assistants, secretaries, bookkeepers 
and other administrative support staff persons serving Presbyterian 
churches and church-related institutions.  The association is organized 
into regional groups for continuing education, skills development and 
support. 
      
     The national conference will feature workshops on theology, 
communications/problem-solving, time and stress management, legal issues, 
office organization and leadership development. 
 
     Persons seeking more information about the APA and/or its national 
conference should call Dot Bass in the APA national office in Raleigh, 
N.C., at (919) 787-2055.
