On Sept. 9, the Rev. Ronald C. White was installed as dean of the
seminary and vice president of academic affairs for San Francisco
Theological Seminary (SFTS) in a daylong celebration on the campus here.
Marking the beginning of SFTS' 125th anniversary year, installation
events included the opening convocation and service of installation,
followed by a luncheon attended by more than 150 area church leaders, SFTS
students, faculty and guests, and an afternoon dialogue with White,
moderated by the Rev. Jack Rogers, vice president for the seminary's
Southern California program and professor of theology.
