Theological Seminary's interactive viewbook on diskette.  The viewbook 
provides an armchair tour of McCormick, from faculty credentials and

PRINCETON, N.J.--The annual Mission Lectureship at Princeton Theological 
Seminary will survey American women in mission and will be given by Dana 
Robert, associate professor of international mission at the Boston 
University School of Theology.  The three lectures will be given at 7 p.m. 
Monday, Nov. 11, and at 1:15 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, in the Main 
Lounge of the Mackay Campus Center.  The topics are: "Women in Mission in 
the 19th Century," "Women in Independent Evangelical Mission" and 
"Ecumenical Women's Missionary Movement." 
 
RICHMOND, Va.--Nancy C. Lee, Ph.D. candidate in Old Testament at Union 
Theological Seminary in Virginia, has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship 
to Croatia for 1996-97.  The scholarship will assist her research for her 
dissertation "Lamentations: Jerusalem, Sarajevo and the Former Yugoslavia 
under Siege."  While in Croatia, Lee will teach at the Josip L. Strossmayer 
University in Osijck.  She will also be associated with the 
Interdenominational Evangelical Theological Seminary in Osijck. 
 
DECATUR, Ga.--Darrell L. Guder will join the faculty at Columbia 
Theological Seminary in February 1997 as the Peachtree professor of 
evangelism and church growth.  Guder has been the William A. Benfield Jr. 
professor of evangelism and global mission at Louisville Presbyterian 
Theological Seminary since 1991. 
 
AUSTIN, Texas--Austin Seminary associate professor of Old Testament Steve 
Reid spent Oct. 10-12 in Piedras Negras, Mexico, as the first lecturer in 
an ongoing continuing-education series to teach church leaders in the 
Noreste Presbytery of the National Presbyterian Church of Mexico.  Stan 
Hall, assistant professor of liturgics, will teach a course on preaching in 
the spring.  The program was coordinated by the Rev. Jessie Gonzales, 
director of border ministries for the National Presbyterian Church of 
Mexico. 
 
LOUISVILLE, Ky.-- "Spiritual Presence in Psychotherapy: A Guide for 
Caregivers" by David Streere, recently retired professor of pastoral 
counseling and director of clinical training at Louisville Seminary, will 
be released by Brunner/Mazel Publishing Company in New York in January. 
The book proposes an alliance between medical practitioners and religious 
caregivers to preserve the spiritual concerns common to both fields in a 
day when managed care and rising health-care costs affect traditional 
patterns of caregiving.
