                        Notes about People

     Funeral services were held Jan. 20 at Riverdale (N.Y.) Presbyterian 
Church for Charlotte Hostetter, 62, a longtime leader in Christian 
education and women's ministries in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).  She 
was killed in an automobile accident Jan. 16. 
     Charlotte's husband, the Rev. Donald Hostetter, suffered minor 
injuries in the accident. Former director of the Presbyterian Center at 
Holmes (N.Y.) and currently coordinator of The Consultants Network for 
Presbyterian camp and conference ministry, Donald is moderator-elect of 
Hudson River Presbytery. 
     Charlotte Hostetter is survived by Donald; two sons, Mark and 
Jonathan; a grandson, Forest Wolf Neikirk; and a sister, Jackie Lowe. 
     A memorial fund has been set up for Charlotte at the camp.  Gifts in 
her memory may be sent to Presbyterian Center at Holmes, 183 Denton Lake 
Road, RR1 Box 183, Holmes, N.Y.

     Frances Young, wife of longtime Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) 
Foundation official Terry Young, died Jan. 26 in Charlotte, N.C., after a 
lengthy illness.
