SEARCH CONTINUES FOR MISSING TEXAS GIRL

Friendswood, Texas--More than a thousand volunteers have been working
around the clock since Thursday, April 3, searching for 12 year old
Laura Smither. Smither and her family are members of Good Shepherd
Episcopal Church in Friendswood. Laura vanished during her routine 9am
jog. Her parents, Bob and Gay Smither, notified the police immediately
when Laura did not return. Word of Laura's disappearance is being
disseminated throughout the USA and Canada by fax and on the internet.

A $50,000 reward is being offered for information thta leads to Laura's
return. Anyone who can provide information is asked to call the
Friendswood Police Department at 281-482-3111 or 281-482-7948. Fax:
