ENGLAND: LOTTERY MONEY FOR NEW CANTERBURY EDUCATION CENTRE

(CT) Canterbury Cathedral has been granted an award of 2.25 million
from the Heritage Lottery Fund towards building a new education centre.

The new centre will be built on the south side of the cathedral
precincts and will be used to host courses, lecturers, conferences and
exhibitions. To total sum needed was 4.5 for the first phase of the
programme and with the lottery money this has now been met.
