    Correction 
 
    Story #97301 in the Aug. 15, 1997, edition of  "NEWS BRIEFS," about the 
Presbyterian Publishing Corporation (PPC), contained several errors. The 
story should have identified William A. Longbrake as secretary to the PPC 
board. The other PPC board members are Jerine W. Clark, William S. Dillon, 
Price H. Gwynn, Deborah F. Mullen, Barbara Wheeler, the Rev. Frank Diaz and 
Davis Perkins. Douglas Deatz was elected senior vice president and 
continues as treasurer of the corporation. Westminister John Knox Press 
director Richard Brown was elected a vice president of PPC. Production 
director Stephen Metzger was also elected a vice president of PPC. Robert 
R. Laha Jr. sits with the PPC board as a General Assembly Council 
corresponding member and James Baskin is the General Assembly Nominating 
Committee liaison to PPC. Wanda Fuller remains as recording secretary to 
the board.
