SOUTHERN AFRICA: PRIMATE EXPRESSES CONDOLENCES

(CPSA) Archbishop Njongonkulu Ndungane, the Anglican Primate of Southern
Africa, has expressed his condolences to all concerned in the tragic bus
accident that occurred this week near Mandini in Natal in which more
than 30 supporters of the Inkatha Freedom Party were killed.
Archbishop Ndungane expressed his deep regret and concern to King
Goodwill Zwelitini, whom he visited earlier this month, as well as to
the Minister of Home Affairs, Chief Mangosothu Buthelezi, and the
KwaZula Natal Premier, Mr Ben Ngubane. He assured them of his prayers
and those of the Church. Archbishop Ndungane said he supported the call
for a week of mourning.
