    Clarification 
 
    A story in the Jan. 23 issue of "NEWS BRIEFS" about the General 
Assembly Nominating Committee (#98017, p. 10) did not include a date by 
which nomination forms should be submitted in order to be considered this 
year. 
    The General Assembly Nominating Committee will put together its slate 
of nominees for this year's General Assembly at its April 15-18 meeting. 
Endorsement forms should be sent to the committee at least 30 days prior to 
that meeting (March 15) so that they can be processed for the committee's 
consideration in April.
