                          Correction to note #4688 
 
    A story in the April 10 issue of "NEWS BRIEFS" about the Churchwide 
Coordinating Team of Presbyterian Women contained incorrect financial 
information. 
    Presbyterian Women's contribution to the unified mission budget of the 
General Assembly comes from the organization's mission pledge - $3.36 
million in 1997.  Other income generated by Presbyterian Women - through 
the Birthday Offering, the Thank Offering, honorary life memberships and 
memorial/recognition gifts - is used for special projects and grants.
