A story in the June 19 issue of "NEWS BRIEFS" (#98205, p. 7) about the
June 4 national Presbyterian teleconference incorrectly identified caller
Shirley Wakefield as Shirley Vincent.

A story in the May 8 issue of "NEWS BRIEFS" (#98148, p. 11) about the
reopening of Havana's oldest Protestant church implied that First
Presbyterian Reformed Church was entirely closed during its yearlong
renovations. Parts of the church, including the main doors, were closed at
various times during the renovation, but services continued in usable parts
of the building and the congregations continued its vibrant ministry during
the renovations.

Several vigilant readers have noticed that in a number of places the
listed dates for the 216th General Assembly (2004) are June 27-July 3,
which means the Assembly would begin on Sunday. The correct dates for the
216th General Assembly are June 26-July 3, 2004, in Richmond, Va. Mark
your calendars now!
