    Assembly Celebrates New Churches

CHARLOTTE, N.C.-The 210th General Assembly (1998) celebrated the chartering 
of 30 new Presbyterian churches in 1997. 
 
    They include Harvest Community Church, Madera, Calif. (San Joaquin 
Presbytery); Jesus Pan de Vida Presbyterian Church, Anasoc, Puerto Rico 
(Suroeste Presbytery); Faith Presbyterian Church, Rincon, Ga. (Savannah 
Presbytery); Great Plains Covenant Presbyterian Church, Sioux Falls, S.D. 
(South Dakota Presbytery); Korean United Church of Kansas, Merriam, Kan. 
(Heartland Presbytery); Iglesia Presbiteriana Agape, Harbor City, Calif. 
(Pacific Presbytery). 
 
    And Kingdom Presbyterian Church, Los Angeles (Pacific Presbytery); New 
Life Presbyterian Church, Milwaukee (Milwaukee Presbytery); Evergreen 
Presbyterian Church, Lombard, Ill. (Chicago Presbytery); Sudanese American 
Nuer Presbyterian Church, Madison, Tenn. (Middle Tennessee Presbytery); 
Meadowlake Presbyterian Church, Huntersville, N.C. (Charlotte Presbytery);
