Geneva, Switzerland, (APD)  The Publication office of the World 
Council of Churches (WCC) has published in English its 4th 
edition of the WCC Yearbook. Included in this useful reference 
handbook are lists of the WCC member churches (with addresses,
telephone and fax numbers), national and regional ecumenical 
bodies, specialised ecumenical organisations (including the 
Christian World Communions), members of the WCC Central 
Committee and staff. An introductory essay provides a detailed 
survey of the main currents in the life and work of the World
Council of Churches during 1997, written by Miriam Reidy Prost 
and Marlin VanElderen of the WCC Office of Communication.
