    Board of Pensions Forms Are Now Online

PHILADELPHIA-In a move designed to save time and hassles, the Board of 
Pensions (BOP) of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) has launched an online 
forms catalog.  Benefits plan members with access to the Web can now view 
and print more than 50 of the Board's forms using free software.  After 
being printed, the forms can be filled out and mailed to the Board of 
Pensions. 
 
    The forms are available on the BOP Web site: http://www.pensions.org 
The forms are in portable document format (PDF), which preserves print 
document layout and graphics better than traditional Web pages. 
 
    "The catalog will help members by decreasing the turnaround time to 
receive new forms and providing 24-hour access to some of our most commonly 
used forms," said David Rich, the BOP's director of education and 
communication services.  Before the Board launched the online forms 
catalog, members had to contact their Regional Service Teams to get the 
most current versions of the forms used in the processing of benefits. 
 
    Rich said the BOP's future plans include providing more documents in 
PDF format, expanding the forms catalog and eventually allowing plan 
members to submit some forms electronically.
