    Corrections 
 
    A story in the Dec. 11 issue reported that the Congregational 
Ministries Division Committee approved financial aid for the Stony Point 
Conference Center to cover operating deficits. The money is actually 
intended to help with some capital improvements that are outside the 
center's operating budget. 
    The same story reported erroneously that a loan from the General 
Assembly Council to the Curriculum Publishing Program Area (CPPA) was under 
consideration. 
    An article summary in the same issue stating that the CPPA was facing a 
budget shortfall may have led readers to assume it was losing money. In 
reality, CPPA's net earnings are positive, but anticipated income for 1998 
is less than was originally expected.
