British Adventist Receives MBE

London, United Kingdom  [APD] Myrtle Roole, a Seventh-day Adventist from London, England, 
received the MBE in an award ceremony at Buckingham Palace on November 26.  Roole was 
awarded the Member of the British Empire medal in recognition for her 35 years of voluntary work 
in the community, reports Rosamond Farrell.

"She initiated a feeding program for the homeless in London," says Farrell. "It could not have 
happened to a more deserving person."

Myrtle Roole went to the Palace, where Prince Charles officiated, to collect her MBE . She was 
accompanied by members of her family who were visiting with her from Florida and around the 
USA. On November 28 a thanksgiving service was held in the Stratford, London, Seventh-day 
Adventist Church to thank God for the success and honour she received for her work in the 
community.
