Adventist Communication Network (ACN) Welcomes New
General Manager

Silver Spring, MA/USA. [APD/ACN] On January 1, 1999,
Glenn Aufderhar became the new General Manager of
the Adventist Communication Network (ACN). He
replaces Kermit Netteburg, who will continue his
role as North American Division Assistant to the
President for Communication. After wrapping up NET '98,
where he served as the executive producer, Aufderhar
is looking forward to this new challenge and
continuing the work of ACN.

With years of experience in ministry, Aufderhar is
working to further the ministry of ACN along with the
help of its network staff. "ACN truly has great
potential. It has proven to be a valuable tool in
building bridges between the church and its family.
This can especially be seen from the results of all
the evangelism crusades," he says.

With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology and
Communication from Walla Walla College and a Masters
in Systematic Theology from Andrews University,
Aufderhar entered the Adventist ministry in 1962 as a
pastor and conference evangelist for the Washington,
Idaho, and the North Pacific Union. Since then, with
his ordination 1966, Aufderhar have held positions
that has made his transition to the team of ACN an
easy one.

Over the years, Aufderhar has served the church in
numerous ministry roles, including president of the
Washington and Michigan Conferences of Adventist
church, and the Adventist Media Center. He recently
held the position of Assistant to the President of the
Seventh-day Adventist North American Division for
Special Projects, where he coordinated NET '98.
