Feb. 19. 1999

On Friday Feb. 19, 1999, several hundred church leaders from all over
the world will be paying a visit to the city of Bethlehem and the town
of Beit Sahur.

They are hosted by the city of Bethlehem. The Palestinian Ministry of
Tourism, the Bethlehem 2000 Project Authority and other Palestinian
officials will host them for a whole day of discussions and tours.

For those members of the press interested in this event please note the
schedule as it is presented below.

Time Schedule

   * 12:30 - Church Leaders arrive at the Paradise Hotel where they are
     greeted by Palestinian officials
   * 13:00 - Lunch at the Paradise Hotel, hosted by the Ministry of
     Tourism, Bethlehem 2000 Project Authority and the Bethlehem
     Municipality
   * 14:30 - the group visits the Church of Nativity
   * 14:50 - a Walking tour of Bethlehem begins, this includes visiting
     the construction project of the Peace Center, the Nativity Crypt in
     Manger Square and Al-Najajreh Rehabilitation Project.
   * 15:10 - a visit to Shepherds Field in Beit Sahur
   * 15:40 - A presentation by the Ministry of Tourism and the Bethlehem
     2000 Project Authority and Palestinian Tour Operators at the
     Bethlehem Hotel
