    CORRECTIONS

    A story in the Feb. 5 issue of NEWS BRIEFS about the Churchwide 
Redevelopment Conference (#99032, p. 11) reported on the membership losses 
suffered by a number of presbyteries.  The story failed to report that a 
significant percentage of the losses suffered by Chicago Presbytery in 
recent years were a result of the creation of Midwest Hanmi Presbytery.  A 
number of Korean Churches left Chicago Presbytery to form Midwest Hanmi 
Presbytery.

    Due to a typographical error, a story in the March 26 issue of NEWS 
BRIEFS about Barrow, Alaska's Utqiagvik Presbyterian Church (#99105, p. 15) 
reported Alaska as the 59th, not the 49th state.

    A story posted on the World Wide Web but not yet published in NEWS 
BRIEFS about the conviction and sentencing of Allan Boesak incorrectly 
reported that he has been jailed.  Boesak has been sentenced but is free on 
bail pending an appeal of his conviction and sentence.
