                 Church Policy Committee Readies  
                      First Recommendations 
 
FORT WORTH--The Assembly Committee on Church Polity prepared its first 
recommendations for the Assembly Monday afternoon, recommending an 
authoritative interpretation of Book of Order provisions for per capita and 
changes in the designation and accountability of retired ministers.    
     The committee also recommended boundary changes between the 
Presbyteries of Sacramento and Nevada and transfers of two congregations 
between Presbyteries.
