    "Presbyterians Today" Seeks Readers' Hopes 
    for the New Millennium 
 
    Responses to Be Published in December Issue

LOUISVILLE, Ky.-With the dawn of the new millennium approaching, 
"Presbyterians Today," the magazine of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), is 
inviting readers to contribute their hopes and fears for the year 2000 and 
beyond. 
 
    "What changes would you like to see in the world - or in your own 
neighborhood?" asks "Presbyterians Today" editor Eva Stimson in her 
invitation.  "What do you envision for the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) or 
for your own congregation?" 
 
    The December issue of the magazine will offer a sampling of the 
responses sent in by readers. 
 
    Responses of 150 words or less should be sent to "Year 2000 Hopes," 
Presbyterians Today, 100 Witherspoon Street, Louisville, KY 40202; or faxed 
to 502-569-8632; or e-mailed to <today@pcusa.org>. 
 
    Deadline is Sept. 1, give or take a few days.
