`Presbyterians Today' Seeks Youthful Heroes
Feb. 1 is deadline for nominations

LOUISVILLE, Ky.-"Presbyterians Today" magazine is seeking names of children
and young people who are making a difference in their neighborhoods,
schools and congregations by living their faith.
The stories of some of these "Young Presbyterians Making a Difference"
will be featured in the June/July issue of the magazine to help kick off
the Year of the Child in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) .
Anyone and everyone is invited to send names of children and teenagers
(18 and under) with a brief description of how they are making a
difference. Please include their age, the name and location of their
church, their racial or ethnic background, and a telephone number for
contacting the young person.
Nominations must be sent by Feb. 1, 2000 to Making a Difference,
