Executive Ministers to Retire

 American Baptist Executive Ministers David Mallgren
and George Daniels have announced their retirements.
 The Rev. J. David Mallgren, executive minister
of the American Baptist Churches of Nebraska, will retire
April 30, 2000.
 Mallgren, who has served as executive since late 1994,
previously had been a staff member of Mid-American Baptist
Churches.  He also served American Baptist pastorates in
Ogden, Utah; Davenport, Ia.; Ames, Ia.; and Sioux Falls,
S.D.
 One of 34 regions within American Baptist Churches
USA, the ABC of Nebraska includes approximately 64 churches
and 9,500 resident members.
 The Rev. George E. Daniels, executive minister of the
American Baptist Churches of Wisconsin since 1991, will
retire Aug. 31, 2000.
 Daniels previously served as an area minister with the
American Baptist Churches of the Central Region.  He also
was pastor at First Baptist Church in Winnebago, Minn., and
on multiple staff churches in Connecticut, Missouri and
Michigan.
 The ABC of Wisconsin includes approximately 80
churches and 12,650 resident members.
