Lowe Resigns as Executive for ABC of West

 Dr. Conrad L. Lowe, executive minister of the American 
Baptist Churches of the West for the past three years, 
announced his resignation this week, effective no later than 
May 8, 2000.
 He will join the staff of the Injoy Group, a Christian 
leadership development organization.
Lowe formerly served as pastor of North Parkersburg 
Baptist Church in Parkersburg, W.V., for 23 years.  
 The ABC of the West, one of 34 regions within American 
Baptist Churches USA, includes approximately 224 churches 
and 47,000 resident members.
