Theological Library Association to meet at Berkeley in June 2000

The annual conference of the American Theological Library Association 
(ATLA) will be held June 21-24, 2000 at Graduate Theological Union (GTU), 
Berkeley, California. The conference is sponsored by the nine theological 
institutions comprising the GTU, as well as two Bay area seminaries: Golden 
Gate
Baptist Theological Seminary and St. Patrick's Seminary.

Keynote speakers include Dr. Robert Bellah, Elliott Professor of Sociology 
Emeritus at the University of California at Berkeley, who will speak on 
"Texts, Sacred and Profane;" and Mr. Robert Wedgeworth, former Executive 
Director of the American Library Association and former Director of the 
International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), 
whose topic will be international librarianship.
