TYLER-LLOYD AMONG NEW BWA VICE PRESIDENTS

 The Rev. Nathaniel Tyler-Lloyd, pastor of Trinity 
Baptist Church in the Bronx, New York City, was among the 16 
new Baptist World Alliance vice presidents elected last 
month at the 18th Baptist World Congress in Melbourne, 
Australia.  His name was inadvertently omitted from an 
earlier American Baptist News Service release.
 Tyler-Lloyd is a former member of the American Baptist 
Churches USA General Board and the American Baptist Board of 
Educational Ministries.  Trinity Baptist Church, founded in 
1899, includes a membership of about 2,000.
 Tyler-Lloyd joins fellow American Baptists Dr. G. 
Elaine Smith, an attorney from Washington, D.C. and a past 
president (1996-1997) of American Baptist Churches USA, and 
Dr. John A. Sundquist, executive director of American 
Baptist International Ministries, as BWA vice presidents who 
will serve five-year terms.
