by Jerry L. Van Marter
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Medical Benevolence Foundation (MBF), a non-profit
organization that raises money for Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) medical
missions around the world, has been chosen as one of 10 non-profits to be
featured on a new Public Broadcasting System (PBS) documentary series next
spring.
According to the Rev. Dan Force, MBF executive director, the 30-minute
television documentary will air in May of 2001 on PBS stations nationwide.
The Medical Benevolence Foundation is one of three Validated Mission
Support Groups of the General Assembly, working closely with the Worldwide
Ministries Division here.
