HUNT, NAKAGAWA AND GRAY ARE NOMINNEES 
FOR ABC OFFICERS
 CHERRY HILL, N.J.--Nominees for American Baptist 
Churches USA officers for the biennium 2002-2003 were 
presented to the General Board during its meetings here during 
meetings last week.
 David Hunt, a layman from Portland, Oreg., and current 
American Baptist Churches vice president, is the nominee for 
president.
 Yosh Nakagawa, a retired businessman and active lay 
leader from Mercer Island, Wash., who has served on the 
General Board, the Asian American Baptist Caucus, in the ABC 
of the Northwest and in many other positions, is the nominee 
for vice president.
 Melva Gray, a business analyst from Indianapolis, 
Ind., and current General Board and Board of Educational 
Ministries member, is the nominee for budget review officer.
 Elections of denominational officers will take place 
next June at the Biennial Meeting of American Baptist 
Churches USA.
