Montreat's recreation workshop set for May 7-12

The Annual Recreation Workshop, one of the most popular conferences on the
schedule of Montreat Conference Center, is scheduled this year for May 7-12.

	The five-day event -- designed for pastors, educators, youth leaders and
others interested in recreation ministry -- includes morning and afternoon
classes (nine hours each over the course of the week) and a host of other
recreational activities and learning opportunities.

	Course offerings range from dulcimer making to stained glass art, from
square dance calling to puppet making, from quilting to teaching children
how to cook.

	The program also includes daily worship, a barn dance, a music and book
store and evening events filled with program and leadership ideas for
recreation ministry.
