"Youth Redefining Hope" is the title of the latest (No. 46) LWF Youth
magazine. It is produced regularly by the DMD desk for Youth in Church and
Society (YICAS). The stories told by youth from different regions of the LWF
voice the young people's "active commitment towards full participation in
the life of church and society," writes Rev. Teresita Valeriano, YICAS
secretary, in the editorial. These stories celebrate and anticipate hope
among young people, Valeriano says. For further information, please write
Switzerland.

"Women, Where Are We Going?" is the title of the latest issue (No. 53) of
Women, a publication of the LWF Desk for Women in Church and Society
(WICAS). The 47-page magazine contains reflections on issues that affect
women worldwide. These include the invisible power of economic
globalization; "gender mainstreaming" in global institutions including the
United Nations; emerging biblical insights that could help shape theology;
affirming the role of women in the church; women as a voice for the
voiceless in situations of conflict; and creating space and leadership for
young women. The publication is edited by WICAS secretary, Ms. Priscilla
Singh. For further information, please contact: Women in Church and Society,
LWF/DMD, P. O. Box 2100, CH-1211 Geneva 2, Switzerland.
