INDIANAPOLIS (DNS) -- Due to the terrorist attacks in New York
and Washington, D.C., the Christian Church Foundation Board of
Directors has decided to cancel its fall meeting that had been
scheduled for Oct. 19-21 in Washington.

The Rev. James P. Johnson, CCF president, said the decision was
made because of concerns for safety and the closing of Regan
National Airport.

The Executive Committee will meet Oct. 19-20 in Indianapolis,
and hold a telephone conference call with two board committees
on Oct. 20.

The presentation of the Harry T. Ice Award to Dr. Harold and
Evelyn Watkins will be postponed to the board's spring meeting
in Indianapolis.
