RODIN TO RESIGN NEXT JUNE AS PRESIDENT 
OF EASTERN BAPTIST THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY
 Dr. R. Scott Rodin, president of Eastern Baptist 
Theological Seminary in Wynnewood, Pa., has announced 
his intention to resign June 30, 2002.
 Rodin served as acting president prior to his 
appointment as president of the school in May 1998.  He 
came to Eastern in 1993 as vice president for 
Advancement and adjunct professor of Theology and 
Ethics.
 Under Rodin's leadership the school successfully 
completed the $6.3-million capital campaign "Forward in 
Faithfulness," established its distance learning program for 
clergy and laity across the U.S.,  developed a new 
curriculum and vision statement and established the 
Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary Foundation, among 
other achievements.
 Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary is one of ten 
seminaries related to American Baptist Churches USA 
through Educational Ministries.
