Tour the Presbyterian Center - without leaving home

by Mary Julia Pace

Have you ever thought about visiting the Presbyterian Center in Louisville?
Put away the road map, sit back and relax. Now you can take a "virtual tour"
of the national offices of the Presbyterian Church (USA) from the comfort of
your computer chair.

Simply go to www.pcusa.org/tour for a step-by-step tour, complete with
photographs and descriptions of the Center's history, architecture and
operations. The tour on the Web was designed and produced by the Office of
Communication so that you can:

* Learn about the history of the Presbyterian Center, and how architects
created a modern facility from dilapidated warehouses

* Visit the Chapel, where staff and visitors attend services daily and on
special occasions

* View the wide array of international art work, with descriptions of each
piece

* Check out offices, conference rooms and other areas

* Link to information about the work done by people at the Center

* Get driving directions to the building - in case you do make it to
Louisville
