	ST. LOUIS -- A special issue of the National Benevolent
Association's "Covenant" newsletter is being mailed to all
Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) congregations
Friday, March 8. A publication of the NBA Office of Church
Relations, this March 2002 special issue includes an
article addressing many of the concerns surrounding
decisions made by the NBA Board of Directors to close three
facilities and a list of frequently-asked questions about
the board's decisions.

	This issue also features commentary from Dr. Bill Edwards,
associate general minister and vice president of the
Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and member of the
NBA Board of Trustees, and Dr. Ben Bohren, NBA director of
church relations. This special issue of Covenant is also
available on the NBA Web site, www.nbacares.org, along with
other information about NBA.  Individuals can subscribe to
future e-mail issues of Covenant by filling out a form on
