PresbyNet offers free sign-ups to racial ethnic church leaders

LOUISVILLE - Responding to the General Assembly's goal of increasing racial ethnic membership in the Presbyterian Church (USA), PresbyNet - the church's computer communication network - is offering free one-year subscriptions to the first 200 racial ethnic congregational leaders who sign up.

	Annual subscription to PresbyNet is $17.95.

	PresbyNet officials say racial ethnic leaders can connect with each other on the network by:

*  sharing sermon ideas around lectionary texts; 
*  discussing polity issues;
*  sharing prayer concerns; 
*  discussing contemporary religious books;
*  exploring issues of faith and practice             ecumenically; and
*  engaging in "live chat" around various issues.
