NEW WILMINGTON, PA - The Rev. Oscar E. Remick, 69, president emeritus of Westminster College, died of cancer on March 25 in his native Maine. He served as president and chancellor of the college from 1987 to 1997.

SAN ANTONIO, TX - Former New York City Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani spoke about the city's response to terror in a recent lecture at Trinity University. In his March 18 address on Leadership in Difficult Times, Giuliani told an audience of about 3,000 students, faculty, staff and donors that Americans are safer now because of security measures taken after last September's attacks and citizens' heightened awareness of the threat of violence.

GLENSIDE, PA - USA Athletes International has named three members of the field hockey team at Arcadia University - sophomore Michelle Basciani and freshmen Jess Zbyszinski and Steph Smolinsky - to a team that will represent the United States in an international competition in Barbados this summer.
